Purpose of the Funding

“To alleviate poverty in Eeyou Istchee, in order to allow all Crees to have the resources, means, choices, and powers necessary to maintain their economic independence, and to be able to participate fully in the development of their Nation.”

The Cree Solidarity Alliance Funds are available to all Cree communities in Eeyou Istchee with the purpose of tackling poverty, exclusion, health & nutrition, as well education in Eeyou Istchee.
